How does it work?
When you purchase fuel at Mobil you earn Mobil Smiles points. When you've accumulated enough points, they can be redeemed instantly for fuel or items in-store.
How do I earn points?
For every litre of fuel you purchase you will earn 1 point for regular fuel (including diesel) and 1.5 points for premium fuel.
How do I redeem points?
Redeem your points by swiping your registered Mobil Smiles card in-store or Pay-at-Pump. Your Mobil Smiles points balance will be displayed. Choose the amount of points you would like to use against your fuel purchase, or choose a treat in-store – easy! The required Mobil Smiles points will be deducted from your account and the new balance displayed on your receipt.
What items can I redeem my points for?
You can redeem your Mobil Smiles points on fuel or items in-store.
Do you have an online store?
No, when you have earned enough Mobil Smiles points, you can redeem your points on fuel or items in-store.
How long will it take me to earn my first Mobil Smiles reward?
Swipe your Mobil Smiles card when you purchase fuel at Mobil and earn points instantly on every litre purchased, no minimum spend required. The length of time it takes to earn rewards will vary depending on your fuel purchases. Earn 1 point on every litre of regular fuel (including diesel) and 1.5 points on every litre of premium fuel.
Does it matter how many litres of Fuel I purchase (in a single sale) if I want to apply my Mobil Smiles points?
No, the maximum amount of litres is driven by the number of Mobil Smiles points you have available to redeem.
Can I also use my Mobil Smiles card when paying for my fuel at the pump?
Yes, you can swipe your Mobil Smiles card when you Pay-at-Pump to earn Mobil Smiles points. You can also choose to redeem your points at the pump.
Can I use my Mobil Smiles card with my Mobil Fleetcard?
Mobil Smiles points cannot be awarded when a purchase is made with Commercial Fleetcard, Ruralco card, RD1 Farmsource Card or Mobilcard.
How can I view my Mobil Smiles points balance?
If your card is registered, you can logon to www.mobilsmiles.co.nz
and view your points status at any time. Your points balance is also printed on your fuel receipt.
What should I do if I forget to swipe my Mobil Smiles card when I purchase fuel?
Please keep your receipt. If you have a receipt that clearly shows a qualifying purchase from a participating site, call Mobil Smiles Customer Service on 0800 880 361.
Do my points expire?
If your Mobil Smiles card is used within a 12 month period your points will not expire.
